      Gamma have advised none of their own sites have working internet and they are struggling to get updates on the situation themselves. They are aware of problems with Horizon and SIP trunks but don’t know the root cause yet. It appears that this is affecting Gamma data services such as ADSL and FTTC connections as well as their voice services.

    We are currently experiencing a Gamma national network fibre break which is impacting Voice and Data connectivity services. Customers will be experiencing voice connectivity and call quality issues due to the congestion as a result of the fibre break.

    Gamma engineers are currently working to identify the actual cause of the fibre break at the moment whilst in parallel we are working to review alternative traffic routing measures to restore connectivity and alleviate traffic congestion.

    There is a current TTB outage in multiple London exchanges resulting in a loss of phone and broadband services.

    This is a Priority 1 fault and is being worked on by Openreach Engineers throughout London.

    We are aware of a Nationwide outage with Mitel effecting hosted customers. Mitel’s engineers are working on the issue. We will update this area once we have been informed of further developments. Thank you for your patience.

    There is a current outage effecting exchanges across Dorset.  This is for Phone and Broadband services including ISDN & PSTN. The Exchanges currently effected are, Weymouth, Dorchester, Blandford, Parkstone, Bournemouth, Lytchett Minster, Westbourne, Swanage, Poole and Wiltshire Exchanges.     Scams where fraudsters are claiming to be from BT

    We’re aware that some customers are being contacted by individuals fraudulently claiming to be from BT or acting on behalf of BT. This type of fraud is an industry-wide problem that we’re actively working to tackle. For the latest developments please check

    Please be very careful as criminals have been trying to trick customers into giving out their bank details.

    They might try to convince you that you owe money on your bill and threaten to disconnect your phone line immediately if you don’t pay them over the phone. BT will never disconnect a phone line during the call

    They might say that you have a fault or virus on your computer and then try to scare you by suggesting that your computer will stop working if you don’t take action. They then try to persuade or coerce you into installing software, or ask you to perform commands on your computer with the intention of gaining remote access to your device

    These fraudsters ‘spoof’ the number they’re calling from so if you dial 1471 you might see a fictitious number that masks the real destination. They may also offer you a call-back number to confirm the legitimacy of their call and will then answer as if you’re calling BT.

      The issue is persisting and has been pinpointed to the London data centre.  This is causing one-way transmission on calls.

      Mitel are continuing to work on this with the highest priority. Our next update will be 4pm
